When you purchase
SouthWest Select Stall Chips
you are providing your animals the best animal bedding available on the market today!
Here are a few tips to get the most from your SouthWest Select product:
1) Completely clean stalls removing any and all prior bedding. This will help your Stall Chips to last longer and work better.
2) Add three bags of Stall Chips for a 12 x 12 stall to do the initial bedding out of your stalls. This provides a good deep cushioning base to work from. This amount can vary depending on what livestock you are using it for, but don’t skimp on the initial bedding out. Stall Chips work better when applied correctly!
3) When mucking out stalls, only remove the Stall Chips that are soaked along with any manure. SWS Stall Chips do not break down like the traditional bedding, so you do not have to remove all the chips to ensure lasting coverage.
4) Replenish Stall Chips sparingly. This is where you save money in the long run. If used correctly, you should have to use less Stall Chips to maintain your stalls than traditional bedding methods.
That’s all there is to it!
